PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATIONS / MEMBERSHIPS
AACI and P.App are Appraisal Institute of Canada designations. AACI stands for Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute and P.App stands for Professional Appraiser.
AScT Certified Member in the Applied Science Technologists & Technicians of British Columbia (ASTTBC), membership number 21840. Member in good standing with the Alberta Society of Engineering Technologists association (ASET) since June 1992; equivalent transfer to ASTTBC in 2003. Graduate from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, Calgary in 1992 with an Honours Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Structural Option.
B.Comm. Graduated from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary in 2002 and awarded the Degree Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction. The former Faculty of Management was renamed in 2002 as The Haskayne School of Business. Successfully completed courses in finance, accounting, entrepreneurship, strategic management and new venture financing.
Post Graduate Certificate in Valuation, graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2006. This certificate fulfills the requirements of the Appraisal Institute of Canada to obtain the AACI designation.
EXPERIENCE
Fee Appraisal Experience since 2004. Steve has experience appraising and consulting on residential, subdivision developments, condominium developments, industrial, commercial and institutional properties in Kelowna, Vernon, Summerland and surrounding municipalities.
Engineering Consultant Over 12 years experience as an Engineering Technologist conducting detailed building envelope investigations, due diligence studies and condominium reserve fund studies on residential, commercial, institutional and industrial buildings. Steve has extensive experience in the preparation of technical specification documents, project management and contract administration. Past experience also includes geotechnical and environmental property review for remediation measures.
Construction Management Project manager for commercial construction projects including design, cost estimating, contract execution, scheduling, and quantity estimating and subcontractor management on commercial construction projects. |
